My Hobby

I love prospecting for gold. I have a mining claim in New Mexico that has running water part of the year. The rest of the time it's dry and I usually haul water in. Prospecting is a family hobby. My wife and I camp out, take and dogs, hike through the woods and spend our days enjoying nature. At the end of the day we usually have some "yellow" to show for our efforts.

I belong to GPAA (Gold Prospectors of America Association) which makes mining claims across the United States availale to its members. GPAA members can pan, dry wash and metal detect on the claims.
